I just wanted to update everyone about the hike!

Hurricane Sally was passing through Georgia and specifically Gainesville today and yesterday. Because of the amount of rain and wind that comes with a hurricane, I didn't get to do the re-hike today.

However, it has been moved to Monday! (Assuming the rain stops for long enough!) I appreciate all the prayers you all have been praying over me. I ask that you all continue to do it on Monday when I will actually be hiking. Also, pray for cooler weather, because it gets hot here!

As soon as the hike is over, I'll keep you posted on how it goes. I practiced the trail a few days ago without my pack and it was actually significantly easier than it was last time- but not just because I didn't have my pack on, but because every day I've been surrendering it to God and also all of you have been praying. I'm confident that this time, I'll pass in the necessary amount of time.

Keep watch for another blog with HUGE NEWS on Sunday! You all will be so excited!!!
